What's Burning Us

1959, in Algeria, a French military operation breaks the friendship of two boys. Sixty years later, the shockwave is still spreading through the lives of their children in France. Leïla, 30, learns when her mother dies that her biological father is still alive. Lamri, 24, Janus with a burned face, is released from prison. These two young French people will reconcile with their heritage, and take their independence, freeing themselves from the burning scars of the Algerian war.
